With awnings being so expensive(even the hardware that attaches the awning to the RV) it's really important to keep those items protected from the elements. Now it's always a good idea that whenever it gets really windy out or there storms in the forecast that the awning be rolled up and its storage configuration to give it it's ultimate protection. However, there may be times that the wind is moderate and, for an extra bit of protection, this device from Camco will do the job clearly. So I'll show in this video how I installed this on my awning and how easy it was to use. There's definitely a greater peace of mind I now have because of these straps being deployed during moderate winds to keep my new awning from breaking.
