This dip goes amazingly well as part of a platter or even just on its own. It is very easy to quickly make up and in my opinion tastes so much better than the supermarket alternatives.
I only use two ingredients in this recipe and they are as followed:
• 125g (4 ½ Oz) Corn Relish
• 250g Cream Cheese (Room Temperature)
As I mentioned above the corn relish dip goes fantastically well on a platter with something like crackers, carrot sticks or even chips.
This dip should last for at least a week covered in the refrigerator. It can probably last even longer but personally I would probably not keep it any longer.
The difference between bad quality and good quality cream cheese is pretty noticeable in something like a dip. If you can afford the better quality, then I suggest you get it over the cheaper alternatives.
If you like a strong tasting dip, then you can add more relish in. The more relish you add the stronger the taste of the dip will be.
If you’re not a fan of cream cheese, then a good substitute for it is sour cream. It will be a bit runnier then the cream cheese but still tastes just as good.
